However, there's more than what meets the eye, and here's what you could've missed.
Wireless Connectivity
Another key difference between the WiiM Amp and WiiM Amp Pro, that WiiM might have conveniently left out, is the absence of AirPlay 2 support in the WiiM Amp Pro. While the WiiM Amp includes AirPlay 2, allowing streaming from Apple devices, the Amp Pro does not, although it does offer other features like wireless Dolby Digital 5.1 and post-filter feedback (PFFB).
Smart Home Compatibility for Apple owners
The older WiiM Amp is better in this aspect, because of the capability to be grouped with HomePods, and it works with Siri for voice commands, unlike the newer WiiM Amp Pro.
Height & Weight
The WiiM Amp Pro is also just slightly heavier than the WiiM Amp, by about 240g. It's also slightly taller than the WiiM Amp, by about 2mm.
The newer WiiM Amp Pro actually uses taller rubber feet, which explains the taller enclosure when placed side by side, possibly offering better ventilation for heat dissipation.
