The Cambridge Audio L/R M Versatile Active Stereo Streaming Speaker (Pair) is designed for listeners who want genuine stereo imaging, serious streaming capability, and modern connectivity without building a traditional separates system. With amplification, streaming, DAC duties, and speaker optimization handled internally, it delivers a refined all-in-one stereo solution that is easy to place, easy to use, and far more substantial than typical wireless speaker alternatives.
Technology & Design
Integrated active architecture — with amplification, crossover behavior, DSP control, and streaming handled as one engineered system, the L/R M is designed to eliminate the guesswork and mismatch risk common in entry-level separates systems.
Driver and cabinet design — each system uses a 28mm custom tweeter, dual 4" woofers, and dual 4.75" passive radiators to combine clarity, bass support, and compact-room practicality.
StreamMagic Gen 4 platform — Cambridge Audio’s current streaming platform supports services such as Spotify, Deezer, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, internet radio, plus multiroom support with Google Cast, Roon Ready status, and AirPlay 2 integration.
Room-aware flexibility — EQ modes, room optimization, and a dedicated subwoofer output help the system adapt more gracefully to different spaces and system goals.
