The beating heart of the 3000 Micro R|Evolution is a pair of active, side-firing 9-inch high-excursion drivers that operate in perfect unison, acoustically and electrically in parallel to generate powerful, controlled low frequencies. By firing in opposite directions, the mechanical forces cancel, creating a sonically inert cabinet and eliminating unwanted vibration—one of the biggest limitations of compact subwoofers. Each high-excursion active 9-inch driver employs a progressive inverted surround to ensure maximum linear displacement.
