When will you need to replace your earphone or headphone plug/connector?

  • Preference for right angle / straight jack connector
  • Headphone cable too long / comes with 6.35mm (1/4") connector
  • Connector is not compatible with your new IEM
  • Music cuts out on one or both sides, and comes back when the wire around the plug/connector is adjusted
  • Exposing internal wires near the plug/connector
  • Corroded plug/connector causing intermittent sound
  • Your toddler cut off the plug/connector jacks

  • Repairs done in Singapore, will have a relatively short waiting time.
  • For repairs/assessments done outside of Singapore, the lead time will be at least 4 weeks.
  • If you are not sure if the repair can be done, drop us an email at info@treoo.com with the problem to check with us.
  • Repair fees varies, depending on the extent of damage or complexity of repair.
  • If repairs cannot be done upon final assessment, deposit fee collected will be refunded.
  • If serviceable parts need to be procured prior to repair, but repairs cannot proceed due to complications, only the labour fee will be refunded.
  • If service is rendered but no actual repairs can be done, there will be a diagnostic fee imposed on case by case basis.
  • If repair procedure is completed but device still not able to work as it should possibly due to other reasons, there will be no refund.
 

Terms and conditions

  1. All repair requests are subject to assessment. Repairability and full-functionality restoration are non-guaranteed.
  2. A deposit of up to $120 is required before assessment and/or repair can initiate. The full deposit amount, may be used to offset the final repair price.
  3. If the product is assessed to be repairable but the customer chooses not to proceed after quotation, up to $60 of the deposit shall be deducted as assessment fee. If the product is deemed to be irreparable, a nominal $30 will be charged as assessment fee, and the remaining amount shall be refunded.
  4. We are not responsible for the pre-existing damage on your earphones (IEMs)
  5. Repairs to be done specifically as per reported by you. We are not responsible for any loss of sound even after repair due to other underlying problems. Any complications that arise during or after the repair procedure shall be deemed to be an inherent issue before the point of repair.
  6. Assessments and repairs are done with understanding that the device would no longer hold up its original waterproof and dustproof ratings, users are advised to avoid contact with water and dust after the procedures.
  7. Price quoted may subject to change if there are further issues realised during internal assessment of the earphones (IEMs). (e.g. Found that driver is faulty instead of earlier diagnosed/suspected crossover damage, etc.)
  8. All repairs are done with the understanding that your device is already not functioning as it should. You allow us to attempt to salvage your device to the best of our technicians' ability with their years of repair experience, and we will not be held responsible for any complications that arise due to any pre-existing conditions/issues during the repair job.
  9. We will proceed with any modification/repair with due care. Some enclosures require extreme heat to dismantle, we will not be held responsible for any damage to housing or drivers at any point in time.
  10. Our company shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident arising from the use of these repaired products at all times.
  11. We reserve the right to reject any repairs, restorations or modifications at any time.
  12. Any item left in our premise(s), pending repair confirmation, repair completed, or otherwise uncollected may be disposed of, a) within 3 months from date of collection notification, or b) within 2 weeks after the second reminder, whichever is later.

 

Ways to send your headphones or earphones for repair

  1. Walk in to drop off at our Showroom, or
  2. Select to have our in-house courier pickup from you, or
  3. Send it by registered mail/courier.
